Soc.subculture.bondage-bdsm
This is my favorite newsgroup. Mail lists are ok. I'm subscribed to a number of them. But my experience has been that the back-and-forth, give-and-take, and thrust-and-parry of real dialogues and discussions have become a lost art on mail lists. It's alive and well on the newsgroup, though.
Baltimore-bdsm mail list
This is my local list. Not a place I would recommend for deep, philosophical discussions, but a good way to keep up with local activities and munches.
Baltimore AT EASE
A local advocacy group that was born out of the closings of the bdsm venues in Baltimore. AT EASE was instrumental in helping to determine that bdsm in Baltimore can be done legally.
BESS
The Baltimore Education and Social Society is a not-for-profit organization which is, as it's name suggests, and educational and social bdsm group.
