My Other Sites

I've always felt I had a creative spark. The problem has always been one of focus and talent. One minute it's music, another it's art. I would go to a concert, hear music so beautiful it made me ache because I knew I could never create anything so beautiful and put away my instrument. Or I'd go to an exhibit, see how a few lines place just so can convey so much meaning and put away my brushes and pencils. I know, I know.....one creates for the sake of creation and expression. Unfortunately, it is my nature that when I perceive myself to be outclassed, I will step out of the arena. Partly, this may be due to that submissive side of me that is easily impressed by "experts". There is probably also a good dollop of low self-esteem there too. They have talent...I do not...mine is not worth mentioning...etc. Mind you, this does not extend to all of my life. I still enjoy a good round with a car dealer and have yet to be taken by one...I've even beaten one at his own game .

Back to the topic at hand, I still have the need to express myself and I finally found a way to do so by creating web pages. I have even gone so far as to make a business out of it, Mouseworks Web Design, and have acquired my own domain name, mouse-works.com. Thus, I have been able to put together my small talents in art (No, I didn't create the graphics for this page; but I liked it too much not to use it.) and writing and create something that is uniquely mine. Moreover, my web pages are like me, plain and basic, not a lot of frills or ruffles, no complicated scripts, sometimes moody; what you see is what you get.

subNATIONMy pride, the ORIGINAL subNATION for newcomers to the submissive lifestyle. A fairly large resource site, created and maintained by just one person....me.

The GalleryThis could be said to be my true "creative" outlet. One of the first site I created, it is a collection of what I consider to be the best of my photography along with some others that I just like. It's mostly landscapes..the places I've been to and what I see around me. Sorry, nothing even faintly erotic or kinky, unless you really get off on mountains and waterfalls.

OccasionallyI used to write poetry. Most of it was adolescent dreck, but I loved haikus. I loved the strictness of the syllables along with the freedom to move within them. It taxed the mind yet controlled it at the same time. Adolescence and high school passed and I moved on. Recently, I came back. It's probably still mostly dreck, but what the hell. Call me verbal.

Amy's Accumulated ArtNothing really creative here, except my own graphics, which pale compared to so much I have seen. I collect web graphics as I look for what i want on my pages. I figured I'd share my collection. Oh yes, if you link to any of the graphics instead of downloading the as instructed, I will find out and the consequences won't be pretty.

Does Time Really Begin On Opening Day?Herewith my vanilla home page. This is about as fancy as I will get. Caution, there's music on every page, but it's easy to turn off using the consol at the top of each page. We have another cat now, Maggie. She's a sweet little black cat we got from an animal rescue organization. She's a little purring machine who absolutely adores Custer and Teddy. Teddy is happy to have a playmate. Custer can't understand why we let another one of those pesky cats in the house.
